Case study: Shopify E-Commerce B2B & Retailer

AI SEO Dashboard. Every page measured, planned and written.

One tool that maps the whole site, pulls in real search data every night, decides what each page should rank for and drafts the copy to match. A person approves every word before it reaches the store.

01At a glance

Real data in. Better pages out.

Most SEO starts with guesswork and a spreadsheet. This starts with measurement, keeps a reason for every decision and leaves the final say with your team.

Measure

Collect the data

Google, Bing, rank checks and AI answer engines, gathered automatically every night and week.

Map

Know every page

Every page on the site in one place, with its traffic, its keywords and its health.

Research

Choose the targets

The right keywords for each page, proven against what Google actually ranks, with the reasoning stored.

Write

Draft the copy

Collection, article and page copy written to the research and checked by code before anyone reads it.

Review

Approve field by field

A person ticks exactly which fields go live. Nothing is published on a schedule.

Track

Watch and improve

Weekly health scores flag any page that slips, so effort goes where it pays back.

02Measurement

One view of search. Google, Bing and AI.

Several independent sources, collected automatically, so decisions rest on more than one set of numbers.

Nightly

Google Search Console

Clicks, impressions and positions for every page and query. Old URLs are mapped to new ones, so history survives a platform move or redesign.

Weekly

Rank tracking

Positions for the keywords that matter, on mobile and desktop, plus the questions Google shows in “People also ask”.

Weekly

Bing

A second source of search data, weighted fairly against Google so it adds evidence without skewing the picture.

Weekly

AI visibility

Asks AI answer engines the questions your customers ask, keeps the full answer and records which businesses are cited.

Weekly

AI referrals

Visits and orders arriving from AI tools, so you can see whether AI search is starting to sell for you.

Daily

Market intel

Google algorithm updates, industry news and competitor movements, summarised as short cards you can act on or dismiss.

03Keyword research

One owner per keyword. A reason for every choice.

Pages on the same site often compete for the same search terms and drag each other down. The dashboard gives every term one owning page and records why.

  1. Clustered. Near-duplicate terms are grouped. Each group is led by the phrase a real customer would type.

  2. Intent proven. Whether a term is for buying or browsing is read from what Google actually ranks for it, not guessed.

  3. Focused targets. Each page gets one main keyword and a small set of supporting terms, one per theme such as colour, style or material.

  4. One owner site-wide. A keyword belongs to one page. Other pages mention it and link across, so they support rather than compete.

  5. Protected wins. Searches a page already earns traffic from are kept safe, so a rewrite never throws away what works.

  6. Competitors read, not estimated. The pages ranking above you are fetched and analysed, showing the gaps your page needs to close.

04Writing and checking

Copy written to the research, checked three ways.

AI drafts. A second AI pass critiques. Code checks the rules. Then a person decides.

Write

House rules

Drafts follow one approved set of writing rules. Changes to the rules are proposed monthly and only apply when a person approves them.

Critique

Editor pass

A second AI pass scores the draft and must quote the exact words it objects to. Vague criticism is ignored.

Check

Rules in code

Title and description lengths, one main heading, FAQs, keyword placement and internal links checked against a verified list.

Facts

Facts register

Every business fact used in copy is confirmed first. If a fact changes, every page still carrying the old one is flagged.

05Insight

Know what changed and what to do next.

The dashboard does not just report. It tells you which pages need attention and why.

Page health

A weekly score for every page in estimated visits a month, with the reasons for every move shown on screen.

Rework queue

Pages that slip, or whose live copy drifts from what was approved, are flagged for another look.

Change detection

Graphs mark sudden shifts in traffic alongside what happened to the site, so cause and effect are easy to see.

Ask in plain English

A built-in assistant answers questions about your own search data, without exporting a spreadsheet.

06Controls

Paid data, kept on a tight leash.

Some search data is paid for per use. The dashboard never spends without limits.

It also feeds our AI Product Studio, so product listings target the same researched keywords as the rest of the site, with no two pages chasing the same term.

Built-in safeguards

  • Every paid request estimated and capped before it runs
  • A monthly spending ceiling across the whole tool
  • Answers cached, so the same data is never bought twice
  • No scheduled job ever writes or publishes copy
  • Every publish needs a person to tick the exact fields
  • Earlier versions kept, so any change can be traced
07Honest limits

What it will not do.

Built to make an SEO team sharper, not to run unsupervised.

  1. Publish on its own. A person approves and ticks every field that goes live.

  2. Promise rankings. It targets proven demand. Results still depend on competition and the market.

  3. Guess search intent. Intent is read from what Google ranks, never assumed.

  4. Invent facts. Only confirmed business facts appear in copy.

  5. Spend without a cap. Every paid call has a limit. The month has a ceiling.

08Questions

Could this work for your site?

Where does the data come from?

Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, weekly rank checks and AI answer engines, plus your own site. Each source is connected with your permission and your logins stay yours.

Does it help with AI search?

Yes. It tracks whether AI answer engines mention your business for the questions your customers ask, which competitors they cite instead and how many visits AI tools send you.

Does it only work with Shopify?

This build publishes to Shopify. The measurement and research work for any website. Publishing can be built for other platforms. We confirm what connects during mapping.

Will it replace our SEO agency?

Not necessarily. It gives whoever does your SEO better evidence and a faster way to produce checked copy. It also shows clearly what your current agency is delivering.

What does a build like this cost?

Every build is quoted at a fixed price after we map your site and goals. Paid data is capped monthly, so running costs are known in advance.
